7-Eleven is a local, family owned, 59-year-old chain of retail food and fuel stores, concentrated in central Oklahoma. William "Bill" Brown opened the first Oklahoma 7-Eleven store in 1953. Today, the company employs over 1,100 Oklahomans and offers other products and services from 110 locations throughout Cleveland, Canadian, and Oklahoma counties. In addition to stores, the company operates its own bakery and full-service distribution center.
